Benefits of OZbreak pile breaking
The benefits are as follows:
- No reinforcing bars are bent, cut or stretched, as is often seen when mechanical methods are used.
- No cracks, micro or otherwise, extend down into the pile head which would normally necessitate rework with hand held tools.
- No possibility of operatives applying injudicious force through either a machine mounted impact hammer, or carelessly placed pile breakers.
- No need for saw cuts around the perimeter of the pile to prevent over break.
Details
- Piles of all sizes can be broken in less than half an hour per pile.
- Instead of requiring manual demolition, creating significant rubble, as well as hand-arm vibration for employees, surplus concrete can be lifted mechanically using an excavator with minimum cleanup.
- OZbreak provides a clean break to the end of the pile, and the usual remedial work on the pile is not required.
